For the last ten years, neglect and disuse have taken their toll on the historic Franklin School Building. In 2004, Franklin Partners, L.P. acquired the property for renovation into a residential building specifically suited to active adults 55 and over.

The Franklin School building sits on two spacious acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in downtown west St. Louis. The beautifully landscaped grounds provide an area where residents can enjoy the leisure patio and a friendly outdoor walking path. The building features
a spacious common lounge, an activity and meeting center as well as
seventy–five impressive residential units.
